By constantly monitoring the output voltage and current of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available energy is drained from your panels and harvested for storage. The advantage of this technology is particularly noticeable when the sky is partly cloudy and the light intensity constantly varies.
Remotely control and monitor the extended functions of your SmartSolar MPPT charger with built-in Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the Internet, Victron's Remote Management Portal (VRM) gives you access to the full power of your MPPT, anytime, anywhere; the use of these two services is free. For remote installations - even when there is no Internet connection or phone signal nearby - you can monitor your MPPT via Bluetooth with an optional LoRaWAN (Long Range Network) device.
